About this Course

O'Fallon Parks and Rec, in collaboration with Code Ninjas, brings you a 7-week class, where your Ninjas use Microsoft MakeCode Arcade to bring iconic arcade games to new life with fresh takes. Participants will design and code their own games inspired by classic platform and adventure genres. The excitement doesn't end there. Upon completion of the program, they'll see their creations come to life and will be able to keep their file to upload and play on their home computer. This hands-on experience not only reinforces their learning but also sparks joy and confidence as they showcase their achievements. Optional: Participants may also upload their game on a handheld gaming device, ready to play and share with friends. Additional fees due to the instructors will apply. Sessions on Wednesday Nights. No sessions on 10/15, 11/5, 11/26.
