About this Course

The 3rd/4th Grade Softball League is a kid-pitch league for girls who are currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th grade. Participants will have a 12-game schedule, and 10 of those games are guaranteed. Games will start in late April/early May. Games are typically Tuesday night or Thursday night, with the occasional Saturday. Reschedules can take place any day of the week. Games will end no later than July 1st. This league may require some travel for away games to Collinsville this season. There will be more details as we get closer to the season. Practices will start the first week of April. Teams typically have two practices per week. One practice during the weekday Monday - Friday night and the second practice will be on Saturdays. The exact schedule will depend on field and coach's availability. Every participant will be provided a jersey and hat for games. Those items come in one week prior to the first game. If a participant ordered an incorrect size, there is a minimum $10 reorder fee. Participants will need their own glove to use for the season. Parks & Rec will provide other equipment (bats, catcher's gear, helmets, etc.) for teams to use during the season. Participants can purchase these items for themselves, if they so choose.
