Join O'Fallon Park and Rec and Elite FT for this inaugural summer camp that will focus on fitness, while having FUN! Each day kids will participate in a variety of fitness type activities that will benefit their long-term physical development that can be used in all sports, activities and everyday life. Elite FT's unique style of teaching fitness to kids will encompass a technique (i.e. using your arms while running) and then incorporate that skill into a fun activity (relay races). Along with proper running form taught in a game environment, campers will learn about nutrition, proper starting stance for a race, speed ladders, how to control their breathing in longer runs, correct technique for body weight movements such as pushups, sit-ups, squats and more. Join us this summer for skills that will last a lifetime! Drop off starts at 8:30am. Mini campers must be dropped off prior to 8:45am. If you are not signing your camper up for a PM Mini Camp, you must pick your camper up by 12:00pm. If your camper is signing up for a PM Mini Camp as well, you only need to drop them off in the morning. We will cover their transition from their AM Camp to their PM Camp. Be sure to send lunch with your camper in this scenario.
