About this Course

Rookie League Baseball is a machine pitch league for Boys, who are entering 1st or 2nd Grade. Participants will have a 8-game schedule. Games will start in early September. Games are typically Monday & Wednesday nights or possible Saturday's during the day. Reschedules can take place any day of the week. Games will end no later than October 31st. Practices will start the week of August 18th. Teams typically have two practices per week. The exact schedule will depend on your coach and field availability. Every participant will be provided a hat and jersey for games. Those items come in one week prior to the first game. If a participant orders an incorrect size on their registration, there is a minimum $10 reorder fee. Participants will need their own glove to use for the season. Parks & Rec will provide other equipment (bats, catcher's gear, helmets, etc.) for teams to use during the season, however, players are welcome to purchase their own to use.
